PDF to Word

Convert a PDF into an editable Word (.docx) document. Everything runs in your browser — your file is never uploaded anywhere.

Please note: this is a text-based conversion. The words become editable text in Word, but the original layout, pictures and tables are not carried over. It works best for normal text PDFs. Scanned picture-only PDFs have no text inside, so they cannot be converted this way.

How it works

  1. Choose one PDF file.
  2. Click "Convert to Word".
  3. Download the .docx file and open it in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice.

Tip: password-protected (encrypted) PDFs cannot be converted here yet — please unlock them first.

Language note: if a Bengali (or other non-English) PDF converts into broken or gibberish text, the source PDF itself probably uses an old non-Unicode font (for example SutonnyMJ), where the letters are stored as Latin codes that only look like Bengali. No converter can read those correctly. Re-export the PDF with a Unicode font (Noto Sans Bengali, SolaimanLipi or Hind Siliguri) and convert again — then the text comes out correctly.
